Find Me LED
The Find Me LED on the Connect WS helps you to find a specific Digi device server among a group of devices.
•
Activate: Clicking this button causes the Find Me locator LED to blink.
•
Stop: Clicking this button causes the Find Me LED to stop blinking.
Port logging
The Connect WS supports a port logging feature that is intended for technical validation or troubleshooting and
debugging purposes only. Do not enable this feature when the device is in normal operational use. Port logging is
automatically disabled during a power cycle of the device.
To enable this feature on one port for troubleshooting purposes:
1 On the Administration menu, click Serial Port
2 In the Port Monitor section, select the port number from the Serial Port drop-down menu.
3 Click Start.
To view port logging data:
1 On the Administration menu, click System
2 From the Select Log File drop-down menu, select serial.log.
3 Click Get File.

You must power cycle the device after using this feature for troubleshooting and before placing the
device in operation.
