EPLACING THE BATTERY PACKS
As mentioned in the presentation, the BATTERY BOX can have one or two battery packs to allow an easy
hot swap replacement of the batteries with safety ensured by the protected connection system.
WARNING: for your safety and that of your product, follow the information set out below exactly.
THE BATTERY PACK IS VERY HEAVY. BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN HOT
SWAPPING IT.
VERSION WITH 2 BATTERY PACKS: IF A SINGLE BATTERY PACK IS TO
BE HOT SWAPPED, MAKE SURE BEFORE THAT THE ONE NOT BEING
REPLACED IS CHARGED.
1 - The battery pack is located behind the front panel of the BATTERY
BOX. Hold the panel centrally from the sides and gently pull it
outwards as shown in the figure at the side. Do not force the panel
fixing pins during this operation.
2 - Open the fuse-holder disconnecting switches at the back of the
BATTERY BOX.
3 - The battery pack is connected to the rest of the BATTERY BOX via
a cable with terminal. Referring to the figure at the side:
press the 2 tabs at the sides of the terminal (
gently pulling it upwards. Use your thumbs to press the 2 fastening
hooks (

) together and, keeping them pressed, insert your index
finger in the slot underneath the connector (
4 - Holding the position described in the previous step, remove the
battery pack by pulling it outwards, as shown in the figure at the
side.
Be very careful when extracting the battery pack as it is extremely
heavy.
WARNING: the new battery pack and the one to be replaced must
have the same number and type of batteries (see label on the battery
pack near the connector).
5 - Insert the new battery pack in the compartment and slide it until it engages with the BATTERY
BOX. Reconnect the cable with terminal to the connector, fasten the front panel and close the fuse-
holder disconnecting switches located at the back of the BATTERY BOX.
