Releasing and Inserting
Battery Pack
Use only the batteries listed in the
battery/charger list. When using
other batteries, e. g. imitations, reconditioned batteries
or other brands, there is danger of injury, risk of fire as
well as property damage through exploding batteries.
To release or insert the battery pack from radio unit,
open the Battery Bay by unlocking the latch. To insert
battery, align battery with terminals and slide battery
pack onto terminal until it locks into position. Do not
force.
To release battery, depress battery release button and
slide battery out of the terminals.
Do not operate unit without the Battery Bay door
closed and latched.
