Keep batteries out of the reach of children.

Use only the type of battery specifi ed in this manual. Do not short-circuit the battery.

Always remove worn-out batteries from the calculator; they could leak and damage the
system.

Remove the batteries if you are not going to use the calculator for a long period of time. Do
not expose the calculator to direct sunlight and keep it away from sources of heat, as high
temperatures could damage the system.
•
Do not use the calculator in humid, steamy, smoky or dusty environments.
•
Do not apply excessive force when pressing the keys. Never use sharp objects, such as pens
or pencils, for pressing the keys.

Avoid touching the display and the solar cell, as they can easily get damaged.
•
Avoid dropping and strong impacts. Do not place any objects on the calculator. Always
replace the cover when the calculator is not in use.

Never try, under any circumstances, to open or dismantle the calculator.
•
Gently wipe the calculator with a soft dry cloth.
•
Dispose of the calculator and the batteries in an environmentally friendly way. Never dispose
of the calculator or the batteries by throwing them to the fi re. Doing so can cause certain
components to suddenly burst, creating risk of fi re and personal injury.
