OPERATING INSTRUCTION
DC (battery) Operation
Insert 2 x AAA cells (not included) into battery
compartment and then close the compartment
door.
Note: Check your batteries regularly. Old or
discharged batteries should be replaced. If
the unit is not to be used for a period, remove
batteries from the battery compartment to avoid
leakage.
Radio
1. Select FM or AM wave band by switching
RADIO BAND SELECTOR.
2. Adjust the sound level with using VOLUME
CONTROL.
3. Tune to a radio station with using FREQUENCY
TUNING.
To improve reception:
- For FM, pull out the telescopic aerial. To
improve FM Reception incline and turn the
aerial, reduce its length if the FM-signal is too
strong (very close to a transmitter).
- For AM, the set is provided with a built-in aerial,
so there is no need to use the telescopic aerial.
Turn the set to nd the best position.
