- To stop the machine, release the trigger switch (6).
CAUTION:
The motor continues to rotate for a short while after the machine is switched off.

5. Operating

- While using the machine, wear eye and hear protection
- Before start working, wait until the machine has reached the full working speed.
- Hold on the machine with both hands: one on the front handle (3) and the other one on the main handle.
- Work with the machine at walking pace only.
- Always keep the power cord behind you, out of the walking and working area.
* Blowing function:
- Use in areas which are difficult to clean: flowerbeds, bushes, trees, building corners, grilles, fences, etc.
- Hold the blowing pipe several centimetres above the ground and make sweeping movements from side to side.
- Walk slowly forwards.
- Keep the collected pile of litter in front of you.
* Vacuum function:
- Use in areas which are difficult to clean: flowerbeds, bushes, trees, building corners, grilles, fences, etc.
- Hold the machine with the vacuum pipe slightly inclined, or move on the transport wheels.
- Collect light-weight material by making sweeping movements to the side. Leaves and twigs are vacuumed up and
crushed.
- Empty the collection bag when full.
* After finishing work:
- Switch off the machine.
- Pull the mains plug out of the socket and the machine.
- Leave the motor to cool down (approx. 30 minutes) before cleaning, servicing, storing or shutting down the unit.
6. Empty the collection bag
CAUTION!
Stop the machine and separate the device from the main power supply before removing or inserting the
collection bag.
The collection bag must be emptied when you have finished working with the machine or when it is full.
If the vacuum bag is very full, the suction power will decrease significantly.
- Open the zip and dispose of the contents of the vacuum bag in accordance with local regulations.
- Close the zip again.
If you need to remove the collection bag:
- Detach collection bag from the back and the front fastening hooks (Fig 10 & 11).
- Press the catches on both sides of the adaptor and remove the collection bag.
- Open the zip and dispose of the contents of the collection bag in accordance with local regulations.
- After emptying the bag, turn it inside out and shake thoroughly to remove dust and dirt from the fabric.
- Turn the vacuum bag back the right way, close the zip and re- attach the vacuum bag.
CAUTION! To protect against injury before all work on the machine:
- Switch Off the machine.
- Wait until all rotating parts have come to a standstill.
- Pull out the mains plug.
- Leave the motor to cool down (approx. 30 minutes).
1. Cleaning
CAUTION! Do not splash the machine with water; otherwise electric components may be damaged.
- Clean the machine after every use. Failure to clean the appliance can damage the materials and cause
malfunctions.
- Handle the machine with care and clean it regularly to prolong its service life.
