PROBLEM
No or diminished air flow/pressure

POSSIBLE CAUSE
Intake/exhaust filter blocked
Regulator improperly set
Dirty vanes
Respirator hose coupling not properly
engaged
Location of ambient air pump
Possible blown fuse
Improper extension cord size
Motor extremely hot to touch
Pressure set to high
SOLUTION
Check intake and exhaust filter for
debris or contamination. Replace if
necessary.
Adjust regulator to respirator manufac-
turer's recommended pressure
Clean vanes with safety solvent
Check for proper connection
Relocate compressor or use remote
intake snorkel assembly
Check fuse/circuit panel for blown fuse
Ensure proper wire gauge (Refer to
NEC Guide)
Thermal overload may be engaged; al-
low time to cool and attempt to restart.
Reset pressure
