ABS (Anti Block System)
The INFINITE 20A is able to provide output currents between 7.5Vdc and 14.4Vdc.
The ABS controls the balance between voltage and current which enables it
to provide a relatively even output current throughout its 7.5Vdc to 14.4Vdc
operation range. For voltages lower than 7.5Vdc, the INFINITE 20A goes into low
voltage protection mode (undervoltage).
Troubleshooting
Won't turn on:
• Check the POWER ON LED are lit, which indicates that the INFINITE 20A has
power. If not lit, check the eletrical socket and power cable connections.
Protection mode has been activated (PROT LED ON):
• Check the equipment that is being fed by the INFINITE 20A. They may be causing
a short at the output or an overload (the power consumption is above the nominal
current with an output tension lower than 7.5Vdc).
• Check the voltage of the eletric power source (127Vac/220Vac).
Note: When using the INFINITE 20A as a non-battery power source, it may
detect an overload at start up and go into protection mode (this is caused
by the internal capacitor bank of the amplifier). In this case, press the RESET
button repeatedly until it turns on.
Installation
The unit can be installed using an external battery source, which allows the user to
power their automotive sound system, as well as to charge the unit's batteries and
help maintain the whole power system.
