Assembly
1 Assembly of the stands
WARNING:
•
If you want to operate the appliance as a floor-mounted
appliance, it is crucial that you install the supplied stands.
•
Only use the enclosed screws that are 17 mm in length.
Screws that have been screwed in too deeply (screws
that are too long) can damage the appliance or could
cause danger to life and health.
•
Carefully place the appliance onto its flat side.
•
Screw down the two stands with four 17 mm screws each
onto the pedestal of the appliance.
2 Wall mounting
The appliance may also be mounted to a wall if the supplied
accessories are used (figure 2). To do so, do not assemble the
stands beforehand. The thickness of the wall must be at least
10 cm.
WARNING:
•
The heater appliance may only be mounted to the wall in
compliance with the minimum distances to other objects:
Up
60 cm
Down
25 cm
Side
25 cm
Front
50 cm
•
Before doing so, ensure that you are not going to dam-
age cables that are hidden inside the wall!

CAUTION:
The following tasks require manual skills. If necessary, have
a professional assist you.
NOTE:
The appliance is simply hooked onto the upper mounting
brackets.
We recommend that you securely mount the appliance to the
wall with the lower spacers. This ensures that it cannot be
accidentally unhooked.
1. Put a left and a right mounting bracket aside for the upper
mounting.
2. Screw on the other two mounting brackets at the bottom of
the housing with the 14 mm screws (see figure 1b).
3. Measure the height at which you want to mount the appli-
ance.
4. The distance between the two indentations on the rear
side of the appliance is 510 mm. Add 10 mm per mounting
bracket. This means that you should drill two holes at a
distance of 530 mm.
5. Screw the two upper mounting brackets into the wall with
the 35 mm screws and the rawlplugs.
6. Hook the housing into the brackets. When doing that, refer
to figure 1a of the rear side of the appliance.
7. Mark the holes for the lower spacers on the wall.
8. After you have drilled these holes, now screw these brack-
ets to the wall as well.
Electrical connection
Power Requirements
The appliance can consume a total of 2000 W. With this
connected load a separate supply line protected by a 16 A
household circuit breaker is recommended.
CAUTION: Overload!
•
If you use extension leads, these should have a cable
cross-section of at least 1.5 mm².
•
Do not use any multiple sockets, as this device is too
powerful.
Connection
•
Make sure that the appliance is switched off. The tempera-
ture control must be set to "MIN". The control lights have to
be off.
•
Make sure that the iron voltage (see name plate) and the
line voltage match.
•
The mains plug should only be inserted into a correctly
installed socket with earthing contact.
