Troubleshooting
If there are any problems during operation, please refer to the following table. If problems cannot
be solved as indicated under Solution, please contact your manufacturer.
Problem
The steam station
does not work
The iron does not
produce steam
Water droplets

Possible causes
• Interrupted power supply
• The steam station is switch
off
• Auto-shut off function has
been activated, due to iron
resting on the station for 10
minutes without any steam
operation.
• Water tank contains
insufficient water or is empty
• No sufficient heat generated,
(heating process is not yet
complete)
• After stopping steam ironing
condensed water drops can
be ejected when continuing
steam ironing
• Ironing temperature is too low
• Possibly caused by steam
condensed on the ironing
board
• Impurities accumulated at the
soleplate or steam outlets
• Minerals or limescale
accumulated in the steam
system
Solution
• Check the power cord, plug and
the socket outlet (if necessary)
• Use the power button
on the steam station
• Press the power button
turn on the steam station.
• Fill in water
• Wait until the steam level
indicator light turns on
• It is not a malfunction
• To avoid droplets when
continuing steam ironing, do
not hold the soleplate over the
garment until regular steam
escapes.
• Steam ironing and steam jet
function are only available at a
higher temperature setting (
and above).
• Adjust to a suitable temperature
or switch off the steam function
• Dry ironing of concerning spots
• If necessary rub down the ironing
board with cloth
• Rinse off the soleplate with a
damp cloth
• Clean the steam system,
following the instructions of
chapter Descaling and cleaning
soleplate with wet cloth
