5.7. ntP PaRaMEtERS

This page allows you to set the NTP options for the RT9s. (NTP Server Option and/or NTP
Client Option)
► The first part relates to NTP client configuration, i.e. when the RT9s obtains time infor-
mation from a remote server. This part is visible only if the RT9s is equipped with the
corresponding option.
Here you can set the RT9s such that it automatically detects the available NTP servers,
or it attempts to connect to a list of servers whose address must be entered using MD5
encryption.
► In the second part of the page, you can modify the NTP server settings, i.e. when the
RT9s distributes time information via NTP.
You can configure the stratum of the server and set its behaviour vis-à-vis MD5-encrypted
requests (accept only encrypted requests, only unencrypted requests, all requests, etc.).
