1. Safety Instructions

The following instructions are for your own safety and must be observed:
• Read these safety instructions and the installation instructions before you start
the white LED spotlight.
• Keep the manual in a safe place for later reference.
• Pay attention to safety when laying the connection cable and ensure that the
cable is not subjected to heavy loads or damage and that no moisture can get in.
• If the flexible connecting leads fitted are shortened, end splices should be used.
• An easily accessible multipole release unit must be installed near the white
LED spotlight to enable the device to be disconnected quickly for servicing.
The earth lead must be of appropriately low impedance in accordance with
DIN VDE 0100.
• Subsequent varnishing of the surface of the unit can have an adverse effect on
its operation. Any subsequent varnishing will invalidate the guarantee.
• Avoid looking directly into the white LED spotlight.
• Never open the device.
The warranty becomes void if repairs are undertaken by unauthorized persons.
• Installation, maintenance and repair have to be carried out only by authorized
service centers.
Before opening the cover disconnect the unit from mains input.
• It is not allowed to operate the white LED illuminator with damaged cover or
during repair.
• Please use only the original cable (included in delivery).
• The connection cable must only be changed by Videor E. Hartig GmbH.
• Contact your local dealer in case of malfunction.
• During assembly, care must be taken to ensure that existing seals are
correctly inserted and are not displaced as a result of assembly.
You must not continue to use damaged seals.
