The IR spotlight shuts off in cases of temperatures > 60°C.
It is switched back on immediately when it is below this
limiting temperature.
The IR spotlight has an integrated twilight switch for auto-
matic day/night operation. To ensure correct functioning the
following points should be observed:
• light sources must not be able to shine directly into the
sensor(photoconductive cell).
• there must be a switch-on/switch-off delay to ensure that
short-term diffused light does not lead to the spotlight
switching off.
Switching on and off depending on the daylight prevents
possible overheating of the IR spotlight, for example by
intensive insolation, and increases its service life.
