4.2- Installation
WARNING: If not properly installed, there is a risk of falling. Make sure your installation can
support the loads.
WARNING: This hose reel is not recommended for ceiling-mount applications.
Choosing a location
This reel is best installed close to a source of water.
For a large area, please place it in the centre of the work area and then you can extend the hose to the
most convenient point in this area.
The hose reel must be mounted on a strong surface, due to product's weight when full of water and the
pulling action during use.
We recommend to mount the bracket on a wall (concrete or brick) or timber (solid wood).
There are many alternative positions in which the unit can be placed.
The key point is subject to what is convenient for the user.
The most appropriate position is to mount the bracket on a wall or post horizontally, at approximately
1~1.25m above ground level.
The mounting bracket has 4 holes, for each there is a corresponding screw.
Bracket installation on wall (see Fig.2+3)
Fig.2: Use the wall bracket to mark the position of the 4 holes on your chosen location.
Fig.3: Drill the holes with 12mm drill bit at 50mm deep.
Insert the masonry plugs into the holes (use hammer if deemed necessary).
Position the wall bracket and insert screws into plugs and then tighten accordingly.
