Note : flexible hoses Ø38mm are not included in the By-pass kit.
In order to install your heat pump, it is necessary to create a « by-pass » on your filtration installa-
tion. It is a derivation on the filtration tube. The by-pass kit allows water to go through the heat pump
and adjust the water flow that circulates in it.

Note : When assembling, make sure you install the valve in the right direction. Assemble all
the elements according to the diagram below :
Towards the
T Shape fitting
- Use teflon on the threaded fittings and screw the Ø
32 / 38mm adapters to the 3-way valve.
- Use the stainless steel inox clamps to tighten the
hoses on the adaptors.
3-way valve oPeRatIon :
- Press on the handle and place it towards the front of the valve, on the figure corresponding to the
desired function of the 3-way valve (See below).
- Position n° 1 : The entire flow coming from the filtration system
goes through the heat pump and then returns to the pool.
- Position n° 2 : The flow can go through the heat pump and then
directly to the pool. In practical terms, the water flow passes mainly
through the path that opposes the weaker resistance, therefore
straight to the pool. The The residual flow which passes through
the heat pump is limited.
- Position n° 3 : The water flow is totally blocked, it does not go through the heat pump nor to the
pool.
WARNING : In that position, do not operate the heat pump. Since it cannot decharge, it could be
damaged.
- Position n° 4 : The entire flow rate coming from the filtration system goes directly to the pool
without passing through the heat pump.
