- When making the connection to the electrical mains, you must install a bipolar switch,
near the appliance, upstream of the power supply box, with contacts opening by at
least 3 mm, and suitable for 220/240 V 16 A.
- The product must be connected to an electrical system as the current specifi cations.
EN
- The appliance should be supplied through a residual current device (RCD) with a
rated tripping current not exceeding 30 mA.
- The bearing structure of the product is metallic. Consequently, an effi cient earthing
system is required, with sensitivity meeting the relevant standards.
- The product identifi cation data (model, power, voltage, manufacturer's name) are
contained in the silver data plate on the unit and on the warranty card. It is issued at
the time of testing.
CONNECTING THE TUB TO THE HOME'S ELECTRICAL MAINS
Using a star-tipped screwdriver, unscrew the cover of the tub's power supply box and
make the phase (L), neutral (N) and earthing (T) connections.
Close the power supply box, checking if the seal adheres perfectly to the box. Screw
the cable grommet to the box.
The earth wire by the terminal board must be longer than the phase and neutral wires.
EQUIPOTENTIAL CONNECTION
Using an 7 mm wrench, connect the wire of the home's equipotential circuit – with a
square M5 nut, indented washer and a hexagon M5 nut – to the tub frame.
- After the installation, check that the bathtub is clean. Fill it up with water at 40+/-5°C
up tp the highest jet level that allows the system functioning.
- Make sure that water has covered the jets.
- Start the system and let it running for 10 minutes minimum. Without draining the
bathtub, stop the hydromassage system and after 10 minutes minimum, check all
the piping, the joints and the connections to fi nd any water leaks.
