If lime scale covers the bottom of the boiler (1) the appliance can be damaged
(accumulation of heat)
1. Pull out the mains plug. Let the appliance cool down properly.
2. Wipe the outside of the appliance with a wet cloth.
Water boiler
1. The scale filter (14) can be taken out easily for cleaning purposes: to do this lift it
upwards.
2. You can clean the scale filter (14) by hand or in the dishwasher. If necessary, put it
in descaler for a few hours.
3. Clean the water boiler (1) on the inside with a soft brush or something similar with a
long handle and rinse it out. From the outside clean only with a wet cloth/sponge.
Then dry with a soft cloth.
Tea pot
Clean the tea pot (10) and the tea strainer (11) after every use.
1. Take out the tea strainer (11).
2. You can clean the tea strainer (11) by hand with hot water but NOT in the
dishwasher.
3. Clean the tea pot (10) with the lid (12) using washing-up liquid and rinse with clear
water. You can also clean the tea pot (10) in the dishwasher.
4. Wipe the keep warm plate (9) carefully with a wet cloth. Do not use any abrasive
cleaning products.
NOTE: Unplug from the mains if the device is not used for a longer period.
