17. Setting the Range
17.1 The sensor-detection range can be adjusted using the optional remote control (FAR
Order No. 5179 0000).
18. Maintenance and Servicing
Depending on the quality of the water, the local conditions and the rules and
regulations applicable on site, the fitting must be maintained and serviced at regular
intervals.
Properly use suitable cleaning agents that are not harmful to the fittings and rinse
with water after use. High-pressure cleaners must not be used for cleaning.
19. Changing the Solenoid Valve Cartridge
19.1 Remove the cover plate (see
19.2 Close the flow-volume regulator (see
19.3 Disconnect the line connection between the solenoid valve cartridge and the
electronic module.
19.4 Turn the solenoid valve cartridge out using the fitting key.
19.5 Reassemble in the reverse order.

Important!
• Carefully tighten the solenoid valve cartridge.
• Keep the flush-plugs in the flush mounting cabinet so that solenoid valve cartridge
can be removed at a later date if required.
20. Replacing the O-ring
20.1 Interrupt the water supply.
20.2 Remove the cover plate (see
20.3 Remove circlip (a) with the appropriate pliers for inner circlips.
20.4 Use a screwdriver to unscrew the closing unit (b).
20.5 Replace the O-ring (c).
20.6 Reassemble in the reverse order.
