4) Place a cup under the portafilter nozzle and
press the dip-switch for coffee (Fig. 1; Pos.

5) Once the cup is filled with the desired amount
of coffee, press the dip-switch in the opposite
direction.
Caution:
- Do not open or remove the portafilter filled
with coffee when the machine is operating.
- Never touch the metal plating of the portafil-
ter; danger of burns.
- The standard portions for the filters are 6/8
grams for a single portion and 12 grams for
a double portion.

5.4 Steam Outlet

1) In order to avoid eddies in the boiler, let off
steam by turning the corresponding rocker
arm.
2) Insert the nozzle (Fig. 01; pos. 11) into the
container with the liquid to be heated.
3) Press the rocker arm for the steam nozzle
(Fig. 01; Pos. 10) up or down. When the
arm is pushed up or down until it stops, it
catches and the spout stays open (Fig. 06).
The amount of steam that exits the spout
depends on how far the steam spout is
opened. The further it is opened the more
steam is produced.
4) Once you have produced enough steam,
switch the rocker arm back to its original
position. Remove the container with the li-
quid and clean the steam nozzle immedia-
tely with a damp cloth.
Note:
Do not touch the steam nozzle directly with
your hands. It is hot.

5.5 Getting Hot Water

1) Place the water container under the dis-
penser (Fig. 01 - pos.3).
2) Switch the rocker arm for dispensing hot
water (Fig. 01; Pos. 5) up or down and dis-
(Fig. 06)
pense the desired amount of water from the
water spout (Fig. 9).
3) Once you have dispensed enough hot wa-
ter, switch the rocker arm back to its original
position.
Note:
Do not touch the spout for dispensing hot wa-
ter with your bare hands. It is very hot. Danger
of burns.

5.6 Machine Stop

Turn the main switch to position 0 (Fig. 01; pos.
1) and make sure that the green control light
is off.

5.7 Dual Pressure Gauge

The machine is equipped with a dual pressure
gauge that can be used to check the following
pressures:
Boiler manometer (Fig. 01, pos. 12; upper
scale)
range 0~3 bar (0~0.3 MPa)
The boiler manometer indicates the boiler
pressure.
Pressure gauge (Fig. 01; pos. 12; lower
scale)
range 0~15 bar (0~1.5 MPa)
The pressure gauge indicates the pump maxi-
mum pressure during operation. When the mo-
tor pump is stopped the manometer indicates
"0".
