• We strongly advise against the use of adapters,
extension plugs and/or leads. In the case of these
being necessary, use only simple or multiple adapters
and extension leads which conform to current safety
regulations, taking care not to exceed the voltage limit
indicated on the adapter and/or extension lead.
• WARNING: When the sandwich maker is switched
on, the inside surfaces can reach extremely high
temperatures and can cause serious burns. Do not
touch the appliance while it is switched on. It should
be taken the necessary measures to avoid the risk of
burns, fire and other damage to persons or property
by contact with the sides or top of the device during
use or the cooling.
• Check if the voltage indicated on the bottom of the
appliance corresponds to the local mains voltage
before you connect the appliance.
• Do not let the mains cord hang over the edge of the
table or worktop on which the appliance stands.
• Keep the mains cord away from hot surfaces.
• Do not let the appliance operate unattended.
• Put the appliance on a flat, stable surface with
sufficient free space around it.
• Always preheat the cooking plates before you put
any sandwiches between them.
