6. Use
1.
To switch on press the ON/OFF switch (2) on the upper side of the device.
2.
First use the cleaning brush (5) in order to remove dirt and dust from the surface of
the shoes. Exert as little pressure as possible on the cleaning brush with your shoes,
otherwise the surface of your shoes can be damaged. Dirt collects in the gaps of the
rubber mat (7) and can easily and quickly be removed by taking out the mat.
3.
In order to apply shoe cream onto your shoe, first remove the sealing cap from the
shoe cream container and then press your shoe gently against the ball which is
located in the turn-lock fastener below the shoe cream container (4) (see diagram of
point 7)
4.
After applying the shoe cream, polish thoroughly with one of the two outer brushes (6
or 8), depending on whether dark or bright shoes are involved. You can treat all shoes
of different colours with a colourless shoe cream (except suede).
5.
As soon as you have finished this, press the ON/OFF switch (2) so as to switch off the
machine again.
7. Refilling the shoe cream container
1.
Pull the mains plug out of the socket each time before maintenance or cleaning.
2.
Remove the shoe cream container as described in point 8.2.
3.
Remove the shoe cream container and loosen the turn-lock fastener by unscrewing it
anticlockwise. Now press the valve on the base of the container so as to prevent the
cream from overflowing. Now fill with the shoe cream. Make sure you use liquid shoe
cream.
4.
After you have filled the container with shoe
cream, close it with the turn-lock fastener. The
valve is opened again in order to ensure that
the cream is applied better.
Insert the container again as described in point
8.2 and close the container flap. This must
audibly click into place.
8. Cleaning and maintenance
1.
Pull the mains plug out of the socket each time before maintenance or cleaning.
2.
You can remove the dust and dirt on the rubber mat at any time using a vacuum
cleaner, or by removing the complete mat and cleaning under running water. In order
to prevent damage to the shoe polishing machine, only insert the rubber mat once it
is completely dry.
3.
Wipe the housing with a damp cloth and then dry.
