The control parameters are changed by means of 3
trimmers (the values, which has to be regulated, rises
clockwise):
RP: partial opening adjustment, from 1 to 3s at high
speed, from 2 to 6s at low speed.
LC: Flashing advance time in closing, from 0 to 15s.
TC: Dealu time for automatic closing, from 0 to 30s.
R16: Brake model selectio.
4.3.5. DESCRIPTION OF THE OPERATING
1. Conduct at the start-on. When the card is started,
the circuit is powered and the door is ready for the
regular working.
2. Opening move. The opening control 1-3, 1-3A, 1-
3B starts a move which opens:
If the dip 2 is ON: high speed opening (motor
powered by terminals X,Y,Z) until FR limit-switch; from
here the approaching phase starts until the obtaining of
FA stop.
If the dip 2 is OFF: slow opening (motor powered
by terminals U,V,W) until FA stop.
3. Partial opening move. The control 1-20 starts the
partial opening move:
If the dip 2 is ON: high speed opening (motor
powered by terminals X,Y,Z) until the expiration of the
partial opening time (trimmer RP) or until FR stop; from
here the opening phase starts lasting about 1s or until
obtaining the FA stop.
If the dip 2 is OFF: slow opening (motor powered
by terminals U,V,W) till the end of the partial opening
time (trimmer RP) or until the FA stop.
4. Closing move. After a closing control (manual 1-4,
9P-4P or automatic defined by trimmer TC) a closing
move is started (motor powered with terminals U,V,W)
until FC stop.
Before making every automatic closing action a pre-
flashing phase is carried out.
5. Reversing. If a reversing is controlled, before putting
it into action, a fixed pause time of 0,1 s is arranged,
during which the motor brake is disconnected.
6. Motor brake. During the opening and the closing,
the brake in the gearmotor group is powered at the
tension of 24V
, allowing the rotation of the motor.
To manage "active brake" type the small bond R16
must be cut near the dip-switch group. In this case the
brake releases the motor when it is not powered.
7. Stop function. When the function stop is actuated
(control 1- 9 or 1- 9P OFF) the door stops for the
duration of the control, then the automation stands still
waiting for the first control. The stop signal prevails on
every other control. The control 1- 9 OFF allows only
the "present man" controls.
8. Function of auto-stored controls. When contact
1- 9P is open, the controls 9P-3 and 9P-4P work at
"present man". If at least one of the safeties in closing
is active, however, it is possible to close the door by
control 9P-4P at "present man".
9. Radio control. Connection a radio-control card at
clutch is provided for, which allows to control the door
opening.
10. Concomitance of contrasting controls. When
there are two contemporary contrasting controls, the
door performs stop.
11. Input signals led. Are available three yellow led to
visualise the most significant input signals with the
following meanings:
8/40 (LD1)
Flashing led.
One of the safety device is engaged orthe 3 positions
selector is in position OFF
Led continuos on.
Command "open" activated
Led continuos off.
There are not safety device engaged and the selector
is not in position OFF and the command "open" is not
activated.
FA (LD2)
Led continuos on.
The opening limit switch is engaged
Flashing led.
The approaching limit switch is engaged
Led continuos off.
The opening and approaching limit switches are
disengaged
FC (LD3)
Led continuos on.
The closing limit switch is engaged
Led continuos off.
The closing limit switch is disengaged
Counter output CNT. Optoinsulated output maximum
load 10 mA and max tension 30 V. It takes an impulse
for each complete closing cycles-counter application.
To install the accessory, code CONT, read the relevant
instruction.
4.3.6. PROTECTIONS AND SAFETIES
1. Motor protection. The motor and its power
circuit are protected against the short circuit by means
of three fast fuses with 8A/500V size 10x38.
2. Protection of transformer and of the service
outputs. The transformer is protected with a fuse F4
fast with 630 mA glass size 5x20 placed on the primary
circuit. The service outputs are protected by a fuse F5
with 5A glass size 5x20.
3. Automatic Reset. In case of microprocessor failures
the automatic reset (watch dog) must intervene to
reset the "starting on" conditions.
4. Safety photocell. Within the electric panel a
connection for a safety photocell card is provided for.
When it is used, the bond J9 must be removed before
introducing the card and a wire bond must be connected
between terminals 1 and 8. An eventual external
photocell must be connected to clamps 0 and 1 for the
feeding 24V
and to terminals 1 and 8 for the safety
contact N.C. In that case the bond J9 must be present.
Bond J8 must always be connected.
5. Pneumatic edge. Contact N.C. of the pressure
switch must be connected to terminals 1 and 40 of
electric board type 44.
6. Work time. If the door, during the opening/closing
phase doesn't achieve the relative limit switch by 15s
since the beginning of the move, the microprocessor
carries out a stop control and forbids every controls. To
reset the operation, controls 1-9 and 1-9P (RESET
function) must be put into action in an impulsive way.
