3.2) The total length of the lanyard (including shock absorbing
element and connecting elements) must not exceed the values listed in
Table 3.2.
3.3) Two-strand lanyards (with only oneshock absorbing element)
must only be connected with both ends at the same height.
3.4) Two single-strand lanyards (with one shock absorbing element
each) must not be connected with both ends at the same height.
3.5) With two-stranded lanyards (using onyl one shock absorbing
element) the loose strand should not be fastened to the strap, to
prevent short-circuit of the strands. For more information, please refer
to the manual of the respective lanyard.
4.) Use as anchor sling
4.1) The maximum forces in the structure that occur in the event of a
fall depend on the energy absorber used. The force absorbed by the
structure corresponds to the maximum force to which the energy
absorber reduces the fall load.
4.2) Comply with the maximum deflection value of the arrester device
and the displacement of the load fastening point.
