use:
Use only the back handle to move the chair, never use other sup-
ports. Know your own capabilities and limitations in terms of strength
and endurance before attempting to go up a ramp. Assistance is recom-
mended when in slope higher than 10%. If you need to stop in a sloping
surface, avoid abrupt movements. During the downhill, do non change

suddenly the direction. Lift the chair up if necessary, using the main
frame and not armrests or footrests.
WARNING! The patient must not put pressure on footrests when go up and down from the chair.
tilting shower chair (only item rs944):
The tilt range here can be variable tilted 25° backwards
and 5° forwards. Control of tilting action is simply performed by a lever under the backrest bar-
style push handle control. Push back handle down to tip commode chair back or lift it up from a
tilted position. Stop pushing the tilting lever to stop tilting adjustment
WARNING! Patient safety measures must be attended while tilting adjustments.
WARNING! Apply the wheels break while tilting adjustments.
WARINING! Pay attention to tilting action while patient is sitting on the chair. Tilt action must be
performed only by trained personnel. Rude tilting movements may put in danger stability and
safety chair.
WARNING! Two spring pistons make tilting movement easier. Attend closely to backrest while
tilting action. Particular attention is recommended from backward to forward position in order to
avoid dangerous status for patient.
Headrest adjustment (only item rs944):
Headrest may be
depth and height adjusted thanks to tow knobs on the backrest
bar. A swivel ball joint allows lateral backrest tilt to meet all
patient needs.
brakes:
In model RS946 you can brake the chair pushing the
lever on each wheel. In model RS947, if you need to adjust
the brake lever, you can unscrew the nut, move the clamp at
the required position and then tighten again.

Casters:
Casters should be inspected periodically and lubri-
cated when necessary.
If the wheel wobbles, tighten the nut of the pivot slightly. To test the wheel, lean the chair to one
side and spin the wheel.
Armrest:
To facilitate the transport of the wheelchair, you can remove or overturn the armrests.
Never us them to move or to lift the chair.
WC:
Use the toilet when the wheelchair is still. To use the toilet take out the removable part of
the seat using the handle on the front part. Take out the toilet using the handle.
