Installation location
We recommend placing the unit in a well-ventilated room
under a suction hood. It is possible to mount the unit free-
standing or place it close to other units. In either case, keep
the sides of the unit at least 150 mm from any other unit
and 150 mm from the back wall in case the unit is near any
walls made of inflammable materials. If these instructions
can't be followed, arrange suitable safety measures against
thermal excess, such as coating the Installation surfaces
with tiles or installing anti-radiation protection guards.
Place the unit on a table or a non-combustible surface.
Before connecting the unit, check the technical plate of
the unit to make sure that the unit is preset and suitable for
the type of gas to be used. If the unit works with a different
type of gas, see the paragraph "Operation with other types
of gas".
Law provisions, technical regulations and directives
Before mounting the unit, make sure that the following
provisions are met:
- UNI CIG 8723 regulations
- Building regulations and local fire prevention;
- Accident prevention regulations in force;
- Local Gas Board regulations;
- CEI regulations in force;
- Fire brigade provisions.
Assembly, installation and maintenance must be done
by companies authorized by the local Gas Board in
accordance with the regulations in force.

Installation procedures
To level the unit correctly, adjust the height of the four
adjustable legs.
Gas connections
The 1/2" G gas pipe union can either be permanently fixed
or detached by using a standard adaptor. If a flexible hose
is used, it must be stainless steel and in conformity with
regulations. After completing the connection, check for
leaks by using a special leak-detector spray.
Fume emission
The units must be placed in suitable rooms for discharging
combustion waste in accordance with the installation
regulations. The units are considered as follows (see the
TECHNICAL DATA table):
" A1" gas units
They are not designed to be connected to an exhaust duct
for the discharge of combustion waste. These units must
discharge combustion fumes through proper hoods or
similar devices connected to a flue of proven efficiency or
they may be connected directly to an outdoor vent.
If such an arrangement is not possible, the unit may be
connected to an air exhaust system having a capacity no
lower than required; see the "TECHNICAL DATA" table, plus
the air exchange necessary for the operator's welfare.
COMMISSIONING
Preliminary operations before commissioning
Preliminary operations before commissioning
Before commissioning, remove the adhesive protection
film. Clean the surfaces and the external parts with warm
water and a cleansing agent, using a damp cloth and then
drying with a clean rag.
Commissioning
Before commissioning, check if the unit (category and
type of used gas) corresponds to the family and the gas
group available in the location. If it is not possible, arrange
the unit to the required gas or adapt the unit to the
required gas (see the paragraph "Operations with other
types of gas"). Follow the operating instructions for the
commissioning.
Power check
Use the rated power nozzles arranged on the units.
