Dear Customer:
Our products undergo stringent quality controls. If this
appliance should nevertheless fail to function properly,
this is a matter of regret for us.
Before contacting our service department, check to see
if you can eliminate the problem yourself.
WARNING!
Switch off and unplug the appliance before beginning
troubleshooting. This will prevent the appliance from ac-
cidentally being switched on.
Possible cause
Plug is not plugged in
Appliance is not switched on
No electricity at wall socket
Power cord is damaged
Dust bag / filters are full or
dirty
Connecting cable [D] is loose
or not connected
Suction tube is loose
Vacuumed particles are stuck
If you were not able to eliminate the problem yourself,
please contact our:

Before calling, have the article no. and appliance/model
name at hand. This information can be found on the
rating plate of the appliance.

Plug in
Switch on appliance
Use other wall socket
Have appliance repaired
Replace dust bag / filters, see
page 33/34.
Connect cable [D] correctly –
see page 29.
Insert suction tube correctly,
see page 30.
