10. Cautions for use
 The ProMAX rangefinder employs an eye-safe laser. Nevertheless, do not
switch the unit while aiming at a human eye or while looking into the lens.
 Do not aim at the sun or strong light with the product so that the
photosensitive elements are not damaged.
 Keep the rangefinder out of reach of children.
 Do not disassemble the product.
 Do not use any power source other than a 3-V CR2 Lithium battery.
 Make sure the battery polarity is correct.
 Remove the battery from the product if you are not using it for an extended
period.
11. Maintenance
Lenses
 Do not wipe dust or sand from the lens, but rather blow it off or remove it
using a soft lens brush.
 Fingerprints may affect the lens surfaces after a time. The easiest way to
clean lens surfaces is to breathe on them and rub them using a clean optic-
cleaning cloth.
 Use of a coarse cloth or unnecessary rubbing may scratch the lens surface
and eventually cause permanent damage.
 Do not use a velvet cloth or ordinary tissue, as it may scratch the lens
surface.
