SAFETY WARNINGS
• To prevent short circuits, this product should only be used inside and only in dry spaces. Do
not expose the components to rain or moisture. Do not use the product close to a bath,
swimming pool etc.
• Do not expose the components of your systems to extremely high temperatures or bright
light sources.
• Do not open the product: the device contains live parts. The product should only be
repaired or serviced by a qualified repairman
• In case of improper usage or if you have opened, altered and repaired the product
yourself, all guarantees expire. Marmitek does not accept responsibility in the case of
improper usage of the product or when the product is used for purposes other than
specified. Marmitek does not accept responsibility for additional damage other than
covered by the legal product responsibility.
• Adapters: Only connect the adapter to the mains after checking whether the mains voltage
is the same as the values on the identification tags. Never connect an adapter or power
cord when it is damaged. In that case, contact your supplier.
• This product is not a toy. Keep out of reach of children.
APPLICATIONS:
This 2.4 GHz extra receiver can be used in combination with various Marmitek video senders,
including the Invisible Scart 200, Invisible Scart 300, GigaVideo45, GigaVideo80, TV
Anywhere and the PC to TV sender. This 2.4 GHz receiver is not compatible with the
GigaVideo70.
This 2.4 GHz extra receiver can easily be used to connect an additional TV set to your A/V
appliances.
SETTING UP THE 2.4 GHz RECEIVER
1. Connect a set of Audio/Video cables to the LINE OUT jacks [H+I] of your 2.4 GHz Receiver.
Connect the other end to your TV. If your TV has a Scart connector, you may use the
Scart adaptor provided; labelled: "Receiver".
2. Switch the Power slide switch [B] on the side into the "OFF" position.
3. Plug the supplied mains adaptor into a wall outlet and connect the plug to the backside of
the receiver [E]. Only use the supplied mains adaptor!
4. Switch the Power switch [B] to the ON position.
5. Switch the channel switch [A] on the underside (A-B-C-D) to the same channel as your sender.
6. Positioning the receiver in a convenient location and orient the antenna [K].
7. Put the side antenna [J] of the remote control extender in an upright position.
If your extra TV set has already been connected to another A/V appliance, such as a
video recorder.
In this case you can plug the 2.4 GHz receiver into the A/V entrance of the extra A/V appliance.
