Use heating pads in dry rooms only
(not in the bathroom, etc.).
Never use a damp or wet heating pad,
wait until it has dried completely.
The appliance emits very weak electrical and
magnetic fields which may cause a pacemaker
to malfunction. Before you use the appliance,
we therefore recommend that you consult
your doctor or the manufacturer of the pace-
maker.
Risk of overheating!
Never leave the heating pad unattended while
it is switched on; switch it off before leaving the
room.
Do not cover the thermostat!
To ensure that the thermostat functions
correctly, do not place it on or under the
heating pad or cover it with other objects.
Do not wind the power cord around the
thermostat. Continuous use at a high heat
setting may cause skin burns.
Risk of injury!
The heating pad must not be used by people
in need of help, by persons sensitive to heat
or by toddlers. Do not allow persons (also
children) with restricted physical sensory
perception or mental abilities or with lack
of experience and knowledge to operate the
appliance unless they are supervised or have
been instructed in the use of the appliance by
somebody who is responsible for their safety.
Keep children away from the appliance.
Supervise children to prevent them from
playing with the appliance.

Application options
The heating pad is designed for use on the
following body parts: arms, legs, stomach,
shoulder, thigh, calf, etc.
Switching on the appliance
Put the heating pad (1) in the fabric cover
(2). Ensure that the power cord and
thermostat (3) are situated outside the
cover (2). Close the Velcro fastener or zip.
Set the required temperature on the
thermostat (3).
Important:
For continuous operation it is recommended
to position the thermostat on the first setting.

When the temperature is set on the
thermostat (3), the heating pad switches
on and the indicator light (4) comes on.

If the thermostat (3) is set to position "0",
the heating pad switches off and the indicator
light (4) goes out.
Automatic switch-off
To prevent unsupervised operation, the
heating pad automatically switches off after
approx. 90 minutes continuous operation.
The indicator light flashes. To switch on the
heating pad again, first set the thermostat to
"0" and then to the required temperature.
After use, pull out the mains plug.
