PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS
UNPACKING
After unpacking the hydroblaster, make sure it is intact.
If in doubt, do not use.
Contact your dealer.
Packaging elements (plastic bags, boxes, nails, etc.) must not
be left within reach of children as they are a potential source of
danger and must be disposed of or stored in compliance with
national environmental protection standards.
ASSEMBLING DISASSEMBLED PARTS OF THE MACHI-
NE
The main parts of the machine and safety devices are assem-
bled by the Manufacturer.
To facilitate packing and transport, a number of secondary com-
ponents of the hydroblaster are supplied disassembled.
The user is responsible for assembling these components ac-
cording to the instructions provided in each assembly kit.

RATING PLATE:

The rating plate with the prin-
cipal technical characteristics
of your hydroblaster is located
on the trolley and is always
visible (Fig. 1).

Important
On receipt of the product, make sure the rating plate is
present. Otherwise contact the Manufacturer and/or dealer
immediately.
Use of equipment without a rating plate absolves the Manu-
facturer of all liability. Products without a rating plate must
be considered anonymous and potentially dangerous.

FILLING THE HOPPER

WITH INERT MEDIA
From the range available, cho-
ose the most suitable product
for the cleaning to be perfor-
med and prepare it (Fig. 2)
according to the instructions
on the packaging.
Fill the hopper.
The hopper tank lid must
always be closed.

Ask your dealer for a catalogue of available products accor-
ding to the type of cleaning to be performed and surface to
be treated.
FILLING WITH FUEL.
With the machine cold, fill the
tank with fresh clean lead-free
petrol (Fig. 3). Fill using a
clean funnel.

Important
- Take care to avoid petrol spills. In the event of spills, dry with
an absorbent cloth and make sure all petrol has been completely
dried before starting the engine.
- While filling, do not smoke, light matches or cause sparks.
Risk of fire or explosion.
- Do not overfill the tank (there must be no petrol in the neck
of the tank).
After filling, close the petrol cap tightly.
- Petrol is highly flammable and explosive. Take great care
while filling.
For further information read the instructions with the
engine.
- Do not use fuel other than that indicated on the rating plate.
- Do not fill the petrol tank while the engine is on.
- Keep petrol containers in special rooms out of the reach
of children.
- Before starting up the engine, check the oil level and if ne-
cessary top up. Check the oil level often (before each cleaning
session).
- Use clean high quality SAE 10W-30 detergent oil for general
use, API-SF or SG class.

COMMAND AND CONTROL DEVICES
Before connecting the hydroblaster to the mains water supply,
you should familiarise yourself with the command and control
devices.
To do this, follow the instructions in this manual and refer to
the relative figures.

SAFETY DEVICES

The safety devices protect the user and the appliance. They
must not be tampered with or used for other than their desi-
gnated purpose.
Main switch: prevents the appliance from functioning acciden-
tally. Turn the appliance off during pauses in work or when you
have finished cleaning.
Thermostatic valve: limits the temperature of the water in the
pump during the by-pass phase.
