2. HOW VOSS.GARDEN VOLEEX WORKS
The vole trap is inserted into a hole in the discovered tunnel made by voles. When the vole touches it, the trap releases in
both directions.
3. ASSEMBLY AND FIRST TIME OPERATION
Important notice
Before using the trap make sure that the animal you want to catch is a vole and not a mole.
Assembly and first time operation:
1. We recommend using gloves when setting up the trap. Human scent could keep voles away and reduce the catch success.
2. Search for the underground tunnel. Use a stick to prod the ground. When the earth gives way, you've found the tunnel.
3. Dig a hole with using a shovel or a special borer (Art: 45271).
4. The openings on the trap should be aligned with the direction of the tunnel.
5. To activate the trap, pull the lever until it is engaged.
Important notice
The trap must be in vertical position!
6. The hole should be covered with earth, leaves or grass. Light or draught in the passage could reduce the success of the
trap.
7. If the trap does not catch after several days, look for another tunnel.
Important notice
Burrows are often smaller and flatter than molehills.
Handy tips
1. Keep using the trap, until no more voles are caught.
2. If there is no catch after one day, find a different spot.
3. If all attempts at catching fail, dig several holes in the tunnel you have found. If these holes are filled up again, it means
that voles are still there!
4. If no longer needed, wash the trap thoroughly with hot water and store in a dry place in its original packaging.
4. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
The repeller is a low-maintenance device. Nevertheless, you should carry out regular visual checks. Check the unit regularly
for damage. Do not operate the unit if it is damaged. You can keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
5. SERVICE
We are at your disposal for all questions concerning the product.
