7 CE-Konformität
Das Produkt erfüllt die Anforderungen der Richtlinie 93 / 42 / EWG für Medi-
zinprodukte. Aufgrund der Klassifizierungskriterien für Medizinprodukte nach
Anhang IX der Richtlinie wurde das Produkt in die Klasse I eingestuft. Die Kon-
formitätserklärung wurde deshalb von Otto Bock in alleiniger Ver a ntwortung
gemäß Anhang VII der Richtlinie erstellt.

1 Application
The 4R101 Sliding Adapter is to be used exclusively for the prosthetic fit-
ting of lower limbs.
Field of application according to the Otto Bock Mobility System MOBIS®:
Approved for a patient with a weight of up to 100 kg / 220 lbs.
The Otto Bock MOBIS® is not intended to be used as a guide to
obtaining reimbursement for prosthetic components in the USA.
The 4R101 Sliding Adapter is designed for permanent integration in the
transfemoral prosthesis.
Attention!
In a transtibial prosthesis the adapter is to be used only in the
form of an interim solution.
2 Description
The 4R101 Sliding Adapter increases the adjustment capabilities for modu-
lar lower limb prostheses. The adapter's aluminum upper and lower sec-
