Before Using for the First Time
1. Carefully unpack the Deluxe Popcorn Station, remove all packaging materials.
2. Wash serving bowls, butter dispenser, kernel removal tool and measuring spoon, in warm, soapy water;
rinse and dry thoroughly.
3. Place the Main Housing on a clean, stable and flat surface.
4. Assemble the stand following the instructions provided.
CAUTION: During popping, the unit gets hot and will emit heat. When positioning the machine, make sure
the surfaces surrounding the machine are able to withstand heat or relocate the machine to a suitable area
for use.
4. Wipe the exterior of the machine, the interior of the popcorn holding area and the dispensing area with
a clean, damp, non-abrasive cloth or sponge and dry thoroughly using a non- abrasive towel. Do not use
any abrasive or chemical cleaners.
5. The Deluxe Popcorn Station is now ready for use.
Operating Instructions
1. Find a flat surface near an electrical outlet before starting. Make sure that the cord is away from any water
source and does not pose a tripping hazard.
2. Gather your popcorn making supplies; popcorn, seasonings, serving bowls, butter dispenser, kernel
measuring spoon. (Kernel measuring spoon, butter dispenser, kernel removal tool and 6 serving bowls
are included with the machine – all accessories included are microwave and dishwasher safe).
3. Lift the top lid of the main unit to expose the hot air popper.
4. Using the kernel measuring spoon provided, fill one measuring spoonful (to the MAX line indicated) with
kernels and add to popping chamber and close the top lid of the machine
NOTE: One measuring spoon of popcorn kernels = 1/3 cup (3 ounces / 85 grams) of kernels at the
MAX line.
Popping one measuring spoon of popcorn kernels yields 12 cups (3 quarts) of popcorn.
CAUTION: Never turn the machine on without closing the lid to the main housing completely
CAUTION: Never overfill or add more than 1 measuring spoon or 85 grams of popcorn kernels to
the popping chamber at one time. Do not put any other ingredients such as oil, shortening, butter,
margarine, salt or sugar into popping chamber as damage will occur. Do not overfill.
5. Plug unit into a 120 V AC outlet. Locate the power controls on the left side of the machine. Press the
yellow START/STOP power switch to activate the machine. A light inside the button will illuminate to
signal that the popcorn popper is in use.
NOTE: Control the light in the signage/dispensing area/popcorn holding area using the red rocker-style
switch located directly above the popcorn power switch.
CAUTION: Never operate the Deluxe Popcorn Station when empty.
6. The popcorn popper is calibrated to pop for 2.5 minutes and shut off automatically on completion. Allow
5 minutes between runs to ensure the machine has the opportunity to cool sufficiently. Dispose of any
unpopped kernels using the kernel removal tool provided
CAUTION: if you do not remove the unpopped kernels before starting the machine for an additional run,
the kernels will burn and the machine may emit smoke. Stop the popping cycle immediately by pressing
the start/stop button, clean out the kernels and restart the run.
7. To dispense popcorn from the holding chamber, place one of the serving bowls under the chute. Align the
back of the bowl with the embossed lip on the base of the dispensing area. Pull the handle to dispense
popcorn into the serving bowl. To stop the popcorn from dispensing, release the handle and it will snap
back into position. Each serving bowl will hold approximately 3 cups of popcorn.
NOTE: Do not force the handle back into position if it is jammed.
NOTE: Due to variances in the popcorn type, freshness and moisture content, some popped or unpopped
kernels may remain in the popping chamber after the popping has stopped. To prevent scorching, power
the Popcorn Popper off by pushing the yellow power switch located on the side of the machine. Use the
kernel removal tool to clean out the popping chamber.
NOTE: To stop the popcorn popper in the middle of a run, press the START/STOP button again and
the heater and fan will stop. Press the button again to restart the run (restarting the run will reset the
automatic shut off timer to 2.5 minutes).
CAUTION: Kernels may continue to pop even after the popcorn popper has stopped running (manually or
automatically). Make sure all popping has stopped before lifting the lid of the main unit.
CAUTION: If you do not remove the unpopped kernels before starting the machine for an additional run,
the kernels will burn and the machine may emit smoke. Stop the popping cycle immediately by pressing
the start/stop button, clean out the kernels and restart the run.
CAUTION: Use oven mitts when handling hot surfaces of the popcorn popper. Allow the popcorn popper
lid and the main unit lid to cool after popping.
