•
You may only clean the unit yourself.
•
Clean both LEDs after each use with a damp cloth and a mild soap.
•
Do not use aggressive detergents or stiff brushes under any circum-
stances.
•
Do not immerse either the appliance or the cable with the LEDs in water.
If liquid has managed to get into the appliance, remove the battery imme-
diately and contact your specialist dealer.
•
The nasal applicator may be disinfected with an alcoholic disinfectant,
e.g. 70% ethanol.
•
You may purchase additional nasal applicators (Article no. 45065) from
your specialist dealer so that your Medinose appliance can be used by
several people under hygienic conditions.
•
Remove the battery from the appliance if you do not intend to use it for a
longish period. This will prevent the battery from leaking.
•
No further maintenance or checking is necessary if the appliance is used
in accordance with these instructions for use.
This product must not be disposed together with the domestic waste. All
users are obliged to hand in all electrical or electronic devices, regardless
of whether or not they contain toxic substances, at a municipal or commer-
cial collection point so that they can be disposed of in an environmentally
acceptable manner. Please remove the batteries before disposing of the
equipment. Do not dispose of old batteries with your household waste, but
dispose of them at a battery collection station at a recycling site or in a
shop. Consult your municipal authority or your dealer for information about
disposal.
The Medinose appliance from MEDISANA carries the CE symbol (confor-
mity symbol) "CE 0483" confirming the appliance's conformity to "Guide-
line 93/42/EEC of the Council dated 14 June 1993 governing medicinal
products".
