3-6 USING THE FEED UNIT ON
A CIRCULAR-SAW MACHINE
A 3-rollers STEFF Feed unit must be
so positioned on the circular saw that
the saw is immediately after the input
rollers (B) and (C).

4-6 ROLLERS
A 4-6 rollers STEFF driver must be
assembled so that the blade of the cir-
cular saw is immediately after the in-
put rollers (B) and (C).
3-7 SPARE CLEARANCES
AROUND THE MACHINE
During the setting up and the regula-
tion of the Feeder one must allow suffi-
cient clearance space between the
Feeder and fixed surfaces such as
walls, machinery ecc. Therefore, de-
pending on the dimensions of the piece
to be processed it is necessary to in-
crease the spare clearance all around
the machine by 1/2 meter.

3-8 USING THE FEED UNIT ON
A SPINDLE MOULDER
During grooving operations, the two
toupie guides must be perfectly aligned,
while during milling or profiling opera-
tions the two guides must be as stag-
gered as required by the thickness to
be removed.
In the 3-rollers STEFF Feed unit, the
toupie miller must be fitted between the
middle roller (B) and the entry roller (A).
