- Insert food into the grill (A). The grill can be used from both sides for thin or thick food up to 5 cm.
All food must be kept within the grill without projecting parts.
- Insert the grill (A) into the appliance using the side guides (D) (Fig. 5). According to food thickness,
the grill can be left also in semi-open position.
- Plug in appliance and rotate the timer knob (E) to set the necessary cooking time. The related
indicator light (B) turns on.
According to the kind and thickness of food, as well as personal taste, the cooking time can be set
up to 30 minutes. IT is advisable to pre-heat the appliance before inserting food.
- To stop the browning process, rotate the dial (E) to the position "0" at any time.
- At the end of use, switch the appliance off by rotating the dial (E) to the position "0" and unplug
it.
WARNING:
Do not touch the appliance and the grill during operation to prevent burn hazard.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

WARNING:
Clean appliance only after having unplugged it and when it is completely cold. Make sure the
appliance has cooled down before removing the inner parts. Allow the collected fat to cool
down before removing it.
DO not disassemble the appliance or try to intervene in any way inside it.
Never use metallic and sharp tools to clean the appliance inside.
Keep the appliance properly clean and tidy to ensure an optimal operation and a longer life
of the machine itself.
- Remove all components, by carrying out the procedures described for assembly in the reverse
order.
Inner sides (C) and side guides (D):
Wash with warm, soapy water. It is advisable to use nylon sponges for stubborn dirt removal. They
are dishwasher safe. The collected fat may increase the temperature and cause damage to the
drip tray base. After several uses, fat may accumulate; if necessary, use an oven cleaner but rinse
thoroughly after use. Do not use oven cleaners on any plastic part. The stubborn fat accumulations
may reduce cooking efficiency of the appliance. Anyway, a slight browning that may appear after a
prolonged use will not jeopardize performance in any way.
Drip tray (F):
Wash with warm, soapy water. Use nylon sponges to remove stubborn accumulation. Wash the drip
tray plate after each use. It is NOT advisable to put the plastic parts in the dishwasher, as the high
temperature of water and the cleaning agents may weaken the handles and the plastic tray. Do not
use steel wool, hard abrasives as they may damage the steel and plastic parts.
Appliance body:
Clean using a soft, damp cloth. To clean the rear and front stainless steel surfaces, it is advisable to
use the cleaning agents intended for stainless steel. Do not use steel wool, hard abrasives or chemi-
cal agents to clean the outside of the appliance to prevent damaging the surface.
