the evo-multipress pump is a horizontal
self-priming multi-stage pump for pump-
ing clean liquids without solid suspended
particles, fibers, or abrasive materials
that may chemically or mechanically at-
tack the pump, or liquids not compatible
with the pump construction material.
the pump can be used to pump water in:
• water distribution systems
• irrigation systems
• rain water collection systems
evo-multipress is a pre-assembled and
pre-wired unit made up of a pump, ex-
pansion tank, fittings, pressure switch,
pressure gauge and flexible hose, which:
• starts and stops the pump according
to opening or closing of utilities.
• reduces water hammer effect.
• is ready to use
the expansion tank has a membrane that
divides it into two compartments; one for
water and one for gas. the water section
serves to collect and deliver fluid in the
event of a request from a utility. the gas
in the relative section is compressed on
collection of the fluid and decompressed
when the fluid is then delivered to the util-
ity. the pump increases the pressure and
conveys the fluid via the pipelines to the
utilities. it is started up or stopped by the
electro-mechanical pressure switch that
controls pressure on the water line. at the
time of water collection, the pressure in
the pipeline drops; when the set interven-
tion is reached on the pressure switch,
the pump is started up. on reduction of
the request, the pressure increases until
it reaches the shutoff pressure value.
the expansion tank influences the pump
start-up and shutdown cycles.
the pressure switch is calibrated at a
set point and the expansion tank is pre-
charged, which must be modified on the
basis of installation specifications in or-
der to optimise operation.
Never use the pump for flamma-
ble and/or explosive liquids.
improper use of the pump can
lead to physical injury and/or
material damage. improper use
of the product will render the warranty
null and void.
Note
the pump is designed for use with drink-
ing water destined for human use (acS).
Application limits
• temperature of pumped liquid: from
+5°c to +50°c in compatibility with the
pump materials.
• maximum ambient temperature:
+40°c;
• max. operating pressure: 8bar
(0.8mPa);
