NOTE!
The digital zoom is not available for recording video
clips.
The microphone is active during video recording and the
sound is also recorded.
While the zoom button is held down, no sound is record-
ed.
The video clips with sound are saved as AVI files.

Recording audio clips

The microphone is on the front left of the camera below the lens.
Be careful not to touch the microphone during the recording.
 In the recording menu under the setting "RECORDING MODE"
select the entry VOICE RECORDING
 Press the shutter release to start the recording. The recording
bar appears in the display.
 Press the shutter release again to stop recording.
NOTE!
The voice recordings are saved as WAV files.

Using the Functions menu

The Functions menu allows you to perform the essential settings
for recording.
