Note: Do not dispose of batteries in the domestic waste. Please return used batte-
ries to the relevant collection points or the shop where they were bought.
Never throw batteries into a fi re.
1. Push the TV/OFF/RADIO switch (located on the right-hand side of the televisi-
on set) to the TV position.
2. Pull out the telescopic aerial as far as it will go and turn it until you receive the
best possible reception.
3. Push the FM-VHF-LOW/HIGH/AM-UHF switch to the desired band range:
LOW = VHF L band 1, HIGH = VHF H band 3 or UHF = band 4+5.
4. Use the TUNING control located on the right-hand side of the television set to
tune in to the desired station.
5. The station display above the screen shows the channel to which the set is
currently tuned.
Note: The reception may be impaired through poor reception locations or
thick building insulation, etc! Try to optimise reception by turning the aerial. If
necessary, move the television set to another position.
6. You can adjust the volume to your requirements with the VOLUME regulator on
the right-hand side of the television set.
Picture Adjustment
You can adjust the picture to your requirements with the BRIGHT (brightness) and
CONTRAST (contrast) controls. If the picture rolls up or down, turn the vertical
hold (V-HOLD) until the picture comes to a standstill.
1. Turn the TV/OFF/RADIO switch (located on the right-hand side of the televisi-
on set) to the RADIO position.
2. Pull out the telescopic aerial as far as it will go and turn it until you receive the
best possible reception.
3. Push the FM-VHF-LOW/HIGH/AM-UHF switch on the right-hand side of the
television set to the desired band range: AM = MW, FM = UKW.
4. Use the TUNING control located on the right-hand side of the television set to
tune in to the desired station.
Note: The reception may be impaired through poor reception locations or
thick building insulation, etc! Try to optimise reception by turning the aerial. If
necessary, move the television set to another position.
5. You can adjust the volume to your requirements with the VOLUME regulator on
the right-hand side of the television set.
