• Use the VOLUME + / - dial (9) to adjust the volume of
EC 4844 (and, if necessary, the audio source appliance)
as required.
• Use the TREBLE + / - dial (8) to adjust the treble volume.
• Use the BASS + / - dial (10) to adjust the base volume.
NOTE:
• Depending on the appliance manufacturer, you
need to perform the registration (PAIRING) again
to connect the appliances.
• In case of problems with the registration of a play-
ing appliance, deactivate the Wi-Fi- / and mobile
data function in your playback appliance.
• The Bluetooth compatibility cannot be ensured
for appliances (e.g. mobile phones) getting
released in the future.
• To ensure an optimal connection, make sure that
the battery of your player is completely charged.
• Some of the mobile phone brands have an
energy-saving mode. Deactivate the energy-sav-
ing mode as it can otherwise result in problems
during the data transfer through Bluetooth.
• To be able to transfer audio data, Bluetooth
needs to stay activated in your player. Observe the
operation manual of your player.
• If a mobile phone on which you are playing music
receives a call, the music will be interrupted.
However, the sound is not played back by the
appliance. After you have ended the call, the
appliances are connected to each other again and
playback resumes.
USB mp3 playback port
• Turn the power on (12).
• Turn the volume low by using the VOLUME + / - dial
(9) on both EC 4844 and, if adjustable, the audio source
appliance.
• Press the SOURCE button (2) to select the USB mode.
• Connect the USB memory with an appliance containing
MP3 music files through the USB input port (16).
• After connected completely, you can listen to music
through the USB cable connection and select music in
your playback appliance.
• Use the
/
buttons (5) to skip tracks and move
through the audio playlist.
• Use the
button (6) to pause or resume the audio
playback. Press and hold the button (6) to stop the
audio playback.
• Use the VOLUME + / - dial (9) to adjust the volume of
EC 4844 (and, if necessary, the audio source appliance)
as required.
• Use the TREBLE + / - dial (8) to adjust the treble volume.
• Use the BASS + / - dial (10) to adjust the base volume.

for ease of use and for an optimal connection with the
Bluetooth stereo sound system without interruptions.
Power Management
• The Bluetooth stereo sound system will automatically
switch to the standby mode when no signal has been
received through the Bluetooth, USB mp3 playback, or
the AUX-in connections for a period of between 10 and
15 minutes.
• Turn the power off (12).
Microphone
• Turn the power on (12).
• Turn the volume low by using the VOLUME + / - dial (9)
on both the EC 4844 and, if adjustable, the audio source
appliance.
• Connect the supplied wired microphone' s plug (21) into
the microphone jack (14).
• Turn the microphone (18) on by using the power switch
(19).
• Use the microphone (18) to sing along with your favorite
songs.
• Use the VOLUME + / - dial (9) to adjust the volume of
EC 4844 (and, if necessary, the audio source appliance)
as required.
• Turn the microphone (18) off after use by using the
power switch (19).
• Unplug the wired microphone and safely store away.
NOTE:
Use caution when moving around the appliance while
the microphone is connected. Arrange the micro-
phone cable in such a way as to avoid any accidental
pull or tripping over the cable.
