Special conditions for safe operation
• The sensors are designed for a low risk of mechanical damage. The sensor
housing and the cable must be effectively protected against mechanical
stress and damage by means of appropriate measures.
• The sensor must not be kinked,
sheared or damaged in any other
way at the marked position.
• The cable must be firmly laid. During mounting, dismounting and operation
of the sensor it must be ensured that no tensile or pressure loads above
F = 20 Newton are applied on the sensor housing from the cable or vice
versa.
• Units or sensors without direct earthing must be installed in an earthed
metallic system ensuring a permanent electrical connection, and so indirectly
earthed.
• In the case of temperatures during permissible operation above 70 °C at
cable entries / 80 °C at wire branches all used cable entries and wires must
be laid out for an ambient temperature of Ta = -20 °C to +80 °C.
