To deactivate the "Open Window" function,
press the "Mode" and "-" buttons together on
the control panel, holding them down until
the display shows "FOFF". To reactivate the
function, repeat the operation, the display
will show "F On".
When an Open Window is detected, the display
on the side control panel shows "OPEn".
To cancel the "Open Window" action, the func-
tion can be deactivated by pressing "Mode"
and "-" (permanent deactivation) or pressing
the "Standby" button twice. If cancelling the
"Open Window" action using the "Standby"
button, when next switching the appliance on,
it will operate in the previously selected mode,
and the function will remain active and ready
to detect another Open Window.
For the optimal operation of the function, it is recommended
to install the appliance near a window (Fig. 9).

SUGGESTED AREA
The appliance's reaction to the window openings
and closings depends on multiple factors, among
which the chosen temperature set point, the
external temperature, the ventilation degree of the
room, la radiator position in the room, presence of
other heating sources.
The "Open Window" function cannot be activated
or deactivated in "Standby" mode.
If the appliance detects an Open Window, all the
operating modes and the "Overdrive (2h)" function
can be selected, however will not be active until the
window is closed. The "Child Safety" and "Keypad
Lock" functions remain active and can be activated
and deactivated even when the appliance has
detected an Open Window.
4.3.2 OvERDRIvE (2h)
The "Overdrive (2h)" can be used to heat the room quickly.
To activate the function, press the "Mode"
button until the "2h" symbol is displayed in
place of the hour/temperature.
The appliance heats at the maximum power for 2 hours, in-
dependently from the temperature setting. To deactivate
"Overdrive (2h)" function at any time, press the "Mode" but-
ton again.
The "Overdrive (2h)" is set to stop automatically after 2 hours
anyways.
The function "Children Safety" limits the heating
power even when the function "Overdrive (2h)" is
active.
4.3.3 chILDREN SaFETy
When the "Children Safety" function is activated, the surface
temperature of the appliance is lower than in normal operation
in the active mode ("Comfort", "Night/Eco",...) to avoid the
risk of burns caused by brief accidental contact.

buttons together and hold them both down
until the icon
To deactivate the function, repeat the same
operation.
"Children Safety" can be activated in all operating modes,
including "Overdrive (2h)". The function cannot be activated
when the appliance is in "Standby".
ImPORTaNT:
When this function is active, the appliance heats at reduced
power and therefore the room takes longer to warm up.
Even when this function active, children should still be
supervised to make sure they are not in danger.
Always avoid prolonged contact between the appliance
and the body.
If the appliance is already operating or is still hot after
recent use and "Children Safety" is activated, it takes at
least two hours for the temperature to drop to the lower
value and the function to be operational.
