Important notes
Please read the directions for use carefully and
observe the information provided. Keep this informa-
tion and the safety instructions in a safe place.
It is important to consult these instructions in order
to acquaint yourself with the hot glue gun, its proper
use and safety precautions.
Important!
For safety reasons the hot glue gun is not to be
used by children, young people under 16 years
of age, or any other persons who are not
acquainted with these directions for use.
Check the data printed on the rating plate. Your
mains voltage must be the same as the voltage
specified there.
Do not let the tool come into contact with any
water.
Examine the tool each time before you use it.
Do not use the tool if any safety devices and/or
the nozzle are damaged. Never put safety devi-
ces out of operation.
Use the tool only for the purpose specified in
these instructions.
Do not wear jewellery or baggy clothing which
may become caught in moving parts. Wear non-
slip shoes and protective gloves. Wear long trou-
sers to protect your legs
Make sure there are no other persons (particu-
larly children) or animals in the area where you
are working.
You are responsible for safety in your work area.
Check the power cable regularly for signs of
damage or ageing (brittleness). Never use the
tool if the power cable is in less than perfect
condition.
Work only in good visibility.
Always make sure of your footing while working.
Be careful when stepping backwards. Risk of
stumbling!

Never leave the tool unattended at your work
place. Store the tool in a safe place during inter-
ruptions.
If you interrupt your work to move to a different
position it is imperative to switch off the tool
while you are moving there.
Never use the tool in damp, wet conditions.
Protect the tool from the damp and rain.
Keep the tool away from children.
Never use the tool in an area containing vapors
and combustible liquids.
Oil, acids and sharp-edged objects can damage
the cable.
Operating Instructions
for the KP 201 Hot Glue Gun
Area of use:
You can glue the following materials with the hot
glue gun: wood, plastic, textiles, cardboard, ceramic,
leather etc.
Putting into operation
Fix the clip-rest onto the front of the hot glue gun.
Fold the clip forwards so that it locks securely into
place in the foremost setting before inserting the
power plug into the power outlet.
Always put the hot glue gun down on a non-flamma-
ble surface.
Push a glue cartridge into the hot glue gun as far as
the limit stop. Now insert the power plug into the
power outlet. The glue gun will be ready for use
after a warm-up time of approx. 5 minutes.
Squeeze the trigger to apply the glue in drops or
strips depending on which nozzle is used.
Press both surfaces together immediately. The
adhesion time is approx. 30 seconds.
During interruptions and upon completing the work,
always use the clip-rest to support the hot glue gun.
Warnings
Disconnect the power plug when the device is
not in use.
Keep the device away from children.
Do not let the device come into contact with
water.
The hot nozzle and the hot glue can cause
burns.
