Warning
Before carrying out the installation, it is imperative that you carefully read and follow the instructions provided by
the manufacturer of the appliance (refrigerator), in order to avoid damage to property through water leakage.
If necessary, check that your water pressure is below 100 psi / 7 bar (it is best to do this with the help of a
professional).
Get a plumber or an authorised installer to carry out the installation if necessary.
1. First, turn off the main water line and disconnect the refrigerator from the mains supply.
2. Pull off the retaining ring (C).
3. Lightly press the pipe connector (B) downwards and keep it pressed as you pull out the plastic bung (A). Repeat
the procedure on the other end of the filter. Note: if the pipe connector (B) is pulled out of the filter, it must be
reinserted.
4. Take the pipe for the ice maker (1/4 inch) and cut it straight with a knife. The cut must be square (90°), so that the
connection seals. Push the pipe firmly into the water filter as far as it will go (approximately 17 mm deep). Make
sure that you observe the water flow direction (FLOW è) displayed on the water filter!
5. Replace the retaining ring (C).
6. Turn on the water supply and check the complete system for leak tightness. Repeat the installation if necessary.
7. Flush the filter in accordance with the appliance manufacturer's guidelines (see operating instructions for refrigerator).
Note
Check the system 24 hours after installation. If you find dripping connections, repeat the installation steps for the
respective connection.
