Electrical connection for fan TN-3 – 230 V ~
Power supply
230 V ~, 50 Hz
Power consumption
0.5 A
The right to effect technical modifications is reserved!
The 230 V electrical connection must always be made
by an expert (in accordance with VDE 0100, part 721
or IEC 60364-7-721, for example, in Germany). The informa-
tion notes printed here on the electrical installation are not
intended for the layman; they are for providing additional in-
formation for the expert you have commissioned to carry out
the electrical installation!
Connection to the mains is provided by a cable measuring
3 x 1.5 mm² to a distri butor box (e.g. flexible sheathed cable
H05VV-F).
Always make sure to connect carefully, observing the correct
colours!
For maintenance or repair work, an isolating device
must be provided on the vehicle side to provide all-pole
isolation from the mains, with a contact interval of at least
3.5 mm.
Fig. D
Connect the mains cable (21). Place the outer insulation of the
cable into the strain relief (20). Secure the strain relief with a
screw (23 – 3.5 x 19 mm).

Insert the plug of the control panel cable into the pin header
(18) as far as it will go. Place the outer insulation of the cable
into the strain relief (20). Secure the strain relief with a screw
(23 – 3.5 x 19 mm).
Place the cable into the recess (22) and tighten the terminal
cover (19) with the screw (23 – 3.5 x 19 mm).
When screwing on the plastic cover (19), make sure that
the cables are not jammed between the cover and the
casing. If this is not observed there is a risk of a short circuit!
Warm air distribution
The warm air system is designed individually for each type of
vehicle on a modular basis. There is an extensive accessories
programme available. Diagrams showing optimum hot air sys-
tem installation suggestions in all of the common caravan and
motor home models can be requested free of charge from the
Truma Service Centre.
The warm air pipes (24) are designed for the Truma ventilator
pipe Ø 65 mm or Ø 72 mm. To improve the hold, a clip (26 –
only for ventilator pipe Ø 65 mm) is attached to every pipe.
The clips (26) need to be removed (caution: sharp edges!)
for mount the ventilator pipe Ø 72 mm). Place the ventilator
pipes firmly into or onto the warm air pipes and, if necessary,
secure using two sheet metal screws (not included in delivery)
Ø 2.9 mm.
The ventilator duct Ø 72 mm can be used when there are ven-
tilator ducts of different lengths or on sides with higher heat
requirements. This allows the full air output to be utilised on
this side.
