Assembly and first time operation:

1. Unscrew the cover of the battery compartment (1).
2. Insert the batteries (4x AA) (2a) and close the cover (2b). The device will immediately start emitting sound.
3. Insert the device into the ground. Make sure that the rod protrudes 1-2 cm above the ground. This protects the unit from
water damage in heavy rain. Do not use too much force to avoid damaging the unit.

Battery handling

1. Make sure the polarity is correct when inserting the batteries. Do not damage the springs on the battery contacts as
this may cause the batteries to leak or overheat. Only use the device with the voltage intended for it. Do not mix fresh
batteries with older batteries. Also avoid using different types of batteries. Even with identical size and shape, they may
have different voltages.
2. If you have not used your device for a longer period of time, use new batteries. Only batteries in good condition guaran-
tee the best possible function of the animal repellent. This also prevents damage caused by leaking.

Practical tips

When placing the device, be careful not to „catch" the mole between the sound waves. For example, do not place the devices
in all four corners of the property.
Drive the mole away from the house in the direction of the property line. To do this, place the mole repellent in front of the
first molehill near the house wall.
The device must not be placed directly into the molehill.
Approx. every 2 to 3 weeks, move the VOSS.sonic MoleEx 800 towards the property boundary. The molehills should continue
to move in that direction.
Note
Leave the VOSS.sonic MoleEx 800 in continuous operation. It can take up to 2 weeks before results become visible.

4. TROUBLESHOOTING

Danger due to improper handling. Do not open the device, do not tamper with the device. Otherwise, functional faults and
device malfunctions may occur.
