6. Configuring the Software
Once the CSNET WEB inteface has been configured, you must
proceed to system configuration.
Start the CSNET WEB application from the direct access
on your PC. If the application has not been installed on your
PC, or if you must temporarily change the system's network
configuration, proceed as explained in chapter 5.
Attention:
Remember that, in order to access CSNET WEB by direct
access you must connect the computer to the Ethernet
network that is connected to the CSNET WEB interface.
When you click the direct access, the data that you must enter
will be displayed on the screen:
User ID: ID of the User Type that will connect to CSNET
WEB
There are two possible users:
Installer: May access all options.
It is recommended that only authorised persons and
persons who know the programme have access to this
option.
User: May only access "Settings", and may display the
"Timer" page (Timer)
Note:
The ID must be typed exactly as shown, upper case and
lower case letters must be respected
You must type Installer the first time you enter the
application
Password:
The initial password for the Installer user name is: Installer
The initial password for the User user name is: User
IP Address:
Enter the IP of the CSNET WEB you wish to connect to.
By default, it must be the same as the one that was
previously entered.
Installation:
Choose the installation you whish to connect. By default, it
must be an installation named Default
You can enter the IP of CSNET WEB you want to connect
to.
Note:
You can create installations using Local Computer
Configuration.
