• Before using the appliance for the first
time, read this instruction manual and keep
it for later reference. Only in this way will
you be able to obtain optimum results and
maximum safety of use.
• If you give the appliance to another person,
remember to enclose this manual.
• Before using the styler for the first time,
check that the domestic mains voltage
is the same as that indicated on the
appliance.

that the appliance is in perfect condition.
In case of doubt, contact your nearest
Technical Assistance Service.
• Keep packaging material and plastic bags
out of the reach of children.
• This appliance is for domestic use only, as
described in this manual. Any other use is
considered unsuitable and dangerous.
• In case of breakdown and/or incorrect
functioning, switch off the appliance. Do
not try to repair it. If it needs repairing, only
a Technical Assistance Service authorised
by the manufacturers should be contacted.
Insist on the use of original spare parts.
Failure to observe this will endanger the
safety of the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance with wet feet or
hands, or with bare feet.
• Do not use the styler after coming out of
the bath or shower. Always dry yourself
before using it.
• DO NOT SUBMERGE THE APPLIANCE
OR CORD IN WATER. AVOID ANY
SPLASHES.
• Do not use the hair styler in the bath or
shower, in rooms with damp atmospheres
or near liquids (above a washbasin or bath
filled with water, for example).
• For greater protection, we recommend you
install a residual current device of up to 30
mA in your bathroom. Consult your installer.
• The hair styler can be dangerous even
when it is switched off, and it should
therefore be unplugged after use.
• Unplug the appliance
- if it is not working correctly
- before carrying out any cleaning
- after use
• Make sure the switch is turned to "0"
before plugging in and unplugging the
styler.
• Do not leave the appliance on a damp
surface or damp towel.
• Do not allow children or the disabled to use
the hair styler without supervision.
• Do not use aerosols while the appliance is
functioning.
• Do not cover the air inlet or outlet while the
appliance is functioning.
• Do not pull on the cord to remove the plug
from the mains.
