Instructions
Transport
Attach the two heating elements to the carry
handle.
CAUTION:
For safe transport, the large
recesses on the handle must
point up.
Assembly
The operating panel doubles up as a swivel joint.
• You can position your raclette in various ways:
- Both grill surfaces can be placed next to
each other.
- Remove the carry handle to place the grill
surfaces apart from each other.
• Place the two stones in the frame on top of the
heating elements.
• Slide the stainless steel plates under the glass
trays in the respective recesses.
• Place the raclette mini pans onto the glass trays.
Electric Connection
1. Make sure that the appliance voltage (see rating
plate) and the mains voltage match.
2. Ensure that both switches are set to 0 (Off).
3. Connect the device to a properly installed
socket earthing contact.
I/0 On/Off Switch
The grill surfaces can be switched on/off sepa-
rately.
• Turn the device on. The indicator lamps in the
switches indicate the mode.
• When you have finished using the device,
please turn it off.
Non-stick coating
• Slightly grease the pans. Place the raclette mini
pans onto the glass trays.
• Make the appliance work for about 5 minutes
without any food in it to remove the protective
coating.
NOTE:
A small amount of smoke is normal. Please
ensure that there is adequate ventilation.
• Clean the pans when cool in soapy water. Your
new unit is now ready for operation.
Tips for a Raclette Evening
• Cut all the ingredients into small pieces or
slices.
• You can roast meat on the hot stone. Please
strew salt over the surface beforehand in order
to prevent the meat from sticking.
• The device should be preheated for approxi-
mately 30 minutes.
• Place the food you want to cook on the hot
stone. In the pans you can put for example
mushrooms or small slices of bread with cheese
to cook.
• Do not overfill the pan.
• Please ensure that the ingredients do not come
into contact with the heating element.
• To avoid damaging the non-stick coating,
remove the food with a wood spatula.
• In the meantime you should remove larger food
residues, e.g. baked-on cheese, from the pans
so that they do not burn.
End Of Operation
1. Set both switches to the 0 position (off). The
indicator lamps in the switches go out.
2. Disconnect the mains plug from the mains
socket.
3. Allow the appliance to cool before you clean it.
