6.3 FAULTS, CAUSES AND REMEDIES

advice in regard to the machine; however, before contacting our after-sales service, please check the
information provided here below.
The display unit won't light up
- Check that all the electric connectors and switches are in their active positions.
- Use a tester if needed to check for system line continuity.
Extractor is not stable
- Load not balanced (see operation instructions).
- Very sudden ramp start (start more gradually).
Frames will break
- Very sudden ramp start (start more gradually).
- Frames with poor structural characteristics (insufficient wiring etc.); use extra screens for tangential honey
extraction.
Lid lock will not allow half-lid opening
- No voltage input to extractor
- Cage still rotating
- Not yet 20 seconds since mushroom-head button operation.
Cage will not rotate
- High honey level on bottom or foreign objects preventing regular cage rotation.
- Check electric connections
- Operate rotation start control.
- Lid lock has been actuated.
- Check reduction gear and motor status.
